State Rep. Andrew Ireland: “Philip Foust has got my total endorsement”
On 93.1 WIBC's Hammer and Nigel, State Rep. Andrew Ireland tells listeners who want change to keep calling it out, then points to the ballot this fall: a former deputy prosecutor and Harvard Law graduate who has his total endorsement.
Closing out his appearance on Hammer and Nigel, State Representative Andrew Ireland was asked what listeners who think the current state of affairs is a ridiculous outcome can actually do about it.
Two things, he said. Keep calling it out, because a lot of people do not know what is going on and assume everything is fine. And look at the ballot this fall.
"We've got a heck of a candidate on the ballot this fall. We've got a guy who is a former deputy prosecutor who worked under Terry Curry, a guy who is a Harvard Law graduate. I mean, a super smart guy. Philip Foust is a Republican running for prosecutor. He's got my total endorsement. He's exactly the direction we need to go. He's going to bring the hammer down on the criminal. So I'm really hoping he wins this fall."
