Resources are limited. The prosecutor’s office must return to its core mission: enforcing the law, seeking justice for victims, and protecting the public—not chasing the latest political trends or social initiatives.
When staff are redirected to that mission, caseloads become lighter, and every bail review, trial, and sentencing receives the attention it deserves.
We know a small group of criminals commits a disproportionate share of serious crime. In the first 100 days, experienced prosecutors will conduct a comprehensive review of cases involving the worst repeat offenders. Appropriate charges and sentencing enhancements will be pursued strategically and vigorously.
Public safety is not a side project. It is the job.
